We are Open Heaven Church—a spiritually deep, emotionally safe, and intellectually rich community based in the DC metro area. We’re shaped by a global, multi-ethnic culture and built for purpose-driven professionals who carry ambition and spiritual hunger in equal measure.
Our mission is to activate people into their highest expression in God through the truth, love, and power revealed in Jesus. We exist for those who are done with shallow spirituality and ready to integrate their faith into every dimension of their life. This is the place that my wife and I have been praying for, for years. So refreshing to be among a people that truly love God, and allows Him to do whatever. Some of the most loving people you ever want to meet. The word is rich and the presence is thick. If you are looking for more than the status quo, this is the place. They make you feel right at home.
Absolutely recommend OHC! If you’re looking to make your exodus from the institutionalized church to the Church as founded by Jesus Christ, who is the head of it, this is where you should go. All it takes is one visit and you will see and experience an open heaven. I know I did.
This church is on fire for the Lord! There is an atmosphere of desiring more of the Lord. The pastors are full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom!
I have found a community which was very welcoming loving and caring, it made me feel at home. I can definitely say that attending open heaven, and being part of the band has strengthened my desire to build a stronger relationship with God.
My whole life turned 180! When I came to OH, I hit my rock bottom, very sad, lonely, guilty and trapped because of few decisions I made and had toxic people around me. I thought I could never be restored, but God through OH restored me and blessed me double portion of what I’ve lost in the past, and still blessing and leading me into amazing things.
I remember one of the first times I attended receiving a mother’s blessing from Minoli that healed a little corner of my heart. The intimacy of this church community is palpable. Open Heaven Church on Sundays is where I feel true belonging and love. I’m so grateful.
I loved Jesus for a long time. I was in a good church, but I wanted more. A lot more. At Open Heaven my dreams came true: revelations of the Word that took me deeper into the Father’s heart, greater depths of intimacy with Jesus, and greater understanding if the spiritual authority given to us in the Holy Spirit. And a real fellowship family. At Open Heaven each one is seen and loved and treasured by our pastors. There is so much freedom and emphasis on each person’s unique expression of God here on the earth as we walk together expanding His Kingdom of Love and Justice. At Open Heaven I learned the transforming power of praise, and of the Word and of the joy of His Presence.
I have learned from teachers of the word, experience kindness and a great sense of genuine family support.
